A grand reopening reception was held on the new deck after the remodel was complete.Standing in front of the new sign are Ben Wakashige, State Librarian; Ed Norris, architect; Toni Beatty, Library Director, Rio Rancho Public Library; and Judith Isaacs, Library Director. Alice Rodgers, Friends of the Library member, greeted visitors and later cut the cake. Parents and family members supported team members. Deb Williams, Children and Youth Coordinator, went to Jemez Valley Preschool once a week with books to share. Students crammed before the battle.
