Parents and family members supported team members.
At each weekly session, Christine Barton read creature books to a group of eager listeners.
Team member’s parents and family members were part of the large crowd that observed the battles.
Lizzie Wasileska and Luke Blecha were the youngest volunteers to assist with the mammoth job of packing and moving all the books and furniture prior to the remodeling.

A grand reopening reception was held on the new deck after the remodel was complete.
Standing in front of the new sign are Ben Wakashige, State Librarian; Ed Norris, architect; Toni Beatty, Library Director, Rio Rancho Public Library; and Judith Isaacs, Library Director.
Students practiced during their lunch hour.
Children and seniors sit together to talk and look at old photos.
Children wrote poems and stories; the main project was making paper mach masks.
Major parts of the third remodel were adding a portal and a deck.
Alice Rodgers, Friends of the Library member, greeted visitors and later cut the cake.
Nancy Blecha waits for the hot dogs cooked by Richard Barton.
Judith Isaacs, Library Director, accompanied the team.
