Description
A decorative, double-leaf wrought-iron gate finished in a gold tone, located on the grounds of the Servants of the Paraclete in Jemez Springs, New Mexico.
The image highlights:
The Gate Design: Intricate scrollwork and floral motifs characterize the gate, which features a central diamond-shaped latch plate.
Architectural Setting: The gate is set within a recessed entryway between two thick, tan stucco walls. To the right, a decorative breeze-block wall adds a textured, mid-century geometric element to the composition.
Perspective: Through the gate, a long, covered outdoor walkway is visible, supported by dark wooden posts. This walkway leads toward other campus buildings nestled at the base of the mountain foothills.
Functional Details: The entrance features concrete steps with yellow safety striping, typical of the well-maintained retreat and residential facilities of the Mary, Mother of Priests complex.
